“Neo-Victorian Criminalities, Detection and Punishment”— University of Wolverhampton (23-24 June, 2025)

Description of the activity.

This is a two-day conference with the first day devoted to academic activities in the field of Neo-Victorianism and crime fiction and a plenary speaker, and the second day with talks and roundtables open to the general public with writers of the genre. Crime fiction has become very popular in the UK and attracts big numbers of people who read these novels or watch TV series which are adaptations from these literary contemporary productions. The first day of the conference will be run at the University of Wolverhampton, and the venue for the second day will be the Georgian Gallery of Wolverhampton Art Gallery.
